Nature Park

Welcome to Nature Park - our beautiful interactive park designed just for dogs.

An action packed full day awaits dogs that love to work and explore - dig for hidden treasures in the sandpit, tennis ball challenges galore, test your skills on the obstacle course. And then of course there's mega Zoomies through the tunnels and playing Hide'n'Seek with your mates.

For those dogs who are a little more reserved they can hang out with the team while they do odd jobs and maintain the gardens. Plenty of cuddles and reassurance available if needed!

Nature Park is perfect for small to medium breeds, and is our gateway to The Farm for younger dogs.

Getting amongst it

We operate whatever the weather. so you might want to invest in a dog jacket if your dog has a thin coat, feels the cold, or fur that stays wet once it gets wet.

Coats that cover the chest and under the tummy, are lightweight are great. Most importantly they need to be comfortable to play in.

Pricing and payment

It costs $59 per day. (Please note : From 1 August 2024 our daily charge will increase to $61.20 so we can continue to pay our wonderful team the Living Wage).

This includes our complimentary pick up and drop home service, our low dog to staff ratio of 15 : 1 with a passionate experienced dog handler, and top notch support from our dedicated admin team.

As standard we offer a 5% discount for dogs attending 3+ days per week.

Invoices are sent monthly on the last day of the month. Our terms of payment are payment in full within 7 days of our invoice. All collection costs are recoverable. Any accounts sent for debt collection incur these fees: 30% of the principal amount owing, plus a debt loading fee of $75. Fees charged by the Collection agency will be additional.

Cancellations

Please let us know if you are going away or your dog is unable to attend. We have a waitlist of casual dogs that would love to have the odd day with us.

Cancellations must be made by email or text message to our office no less than 48 hours before your booking. Our office is open 7.30am - 5pm Monday - Friday. You cannot cancel via our staff.  As we are closed during the weekend, any cancellations for Monday must be made by 4pm Friday. Failure to advise us of your cancellation within our timeframes will result in a full day charge being applied to your invoice.

Late cancellations may be accepted in exceptional or emergency situations. Please advise us by text message as we will not see your email if we are closed.

We operate whatever the weather and do not accept cancellations due to weather conditions. A full day charge will be applied if you choose not to send your dog.

Breed, age and behaviour

Nature Park is particularly perfect for small to medium sized dogs that need mental stimulation as well as exercise.

Larger breed pups (eg: Labradors, Retrievers) can also join in the fun until they are old enough to graduate to Boom Rock Farm. It's also a great space for mobility restricted or elderly dogs.

We don't take Pitbulls, Mastiffs, Staffies, Rottweilers, Bull Terriers, Dogue De Bordeaux, Ridgebacks, Shar Pei, Dobermans, German Shepherds. Please don't be offended - from our years of experience we find that these breeds just don't work in a busy, enclosed space with lots of other dogs.  Aggressive or dominant dogs are unfortunately not suited to Boom Rock Dogs Nature Park. Due to noise restrictions, dogs who bark persistently may not be able to attend.

Your dog will need to be social (they will be sharing a cage in the dog van), and have basic obedience skills such as sit and come (or working towards if they are still a pup).

Health

Male dogs aged over 8 months must be neutered, and un-speyed females kept at home while on heat.

All dogs must be vaccinated for Parvo, Distemper, Hepatitis and Kennel Cough. If your dog is receiving a long term vaccination such as DHP, please note you will still need an annual booster shot for Kennel Cough.
Your dog should also be flea and worm treated regularly, and should ideally be registered with your local council.

We can take pups from 14 / 16 weeks - once they've had their full course of 3 vaccinations. We can feed your pup a midday meal if needed - you'll just need to supply it in a well sealed, named container at collection.

And it's a bit like kindergarten - if your dog is sick or is contagious please keep them at home.

We strongly recommend pet insurance for all of our customers.

To book a Boom Rock Dogs day out for your dog ......

It's really simple. Just give us a call, or send us a text or email an enquiry.

You can book regular days each week (recommended), or casually as required (dependant on availability).

Please let us know your dogs name, breed & age, plus your suburb and preferred days when you get in touch.
